This October, a high-level Nordic delegation of more than 55 participants will travel to Singapore to participate in the Nordic Singapore Innovation Days (NSID), organised in connection with the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH).

The delegation represents six Nordic countries, including the New Nordics, and brings together a diverse mix of startups, investors, CVCs, ecosystem leaders and government agencies. The joint mission aims to accelerate green innovation, foster deeptech collaboration, and create new opportunities for sustainable growth.

The week-long agenda features site visits, investor roundtables, corporate matchmaking, investor matchmaking, and networking events — all designed to deepen collaboration between Nordic startups and Singapore’s innovation ecosystem.

We are keen to collaborate with Singapore – a nation that dares to think long-term, invest strategically, and build value chains resilient to global risks. Singapore actively seeks partners with cutting-edge expertise, a strong commitment to sustainability, and a drive for innovation – qualities that we are proud to offer,” says Joanna Boquist, Counsellor of Innovation at the Embassy of Sweden in Singapore.

At the heart of the programme is the NSID Inauguration on 29 October at Marina Bay Sands, a flagship event gathering representatives from government, industry, academia, startups, and investors. The Inauguration will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, startup pitches, and strategic announcements – showcasing how the Nordics and Singapore can jointly address global challenges through innovation, investment, and partnership.

Nordic Singapore Innovation Days is about building bridges between two leading innovation regions. By connecting Nordic deeptech and climate tech startups with Singapore’s corporates, investors, and innovation leaders, we aim to accelerate solutions that can make a global impact,” says Katarina Bennich, Project Manager for NSID 2025.

Through NSID, the organisers aim to strengthen ties between the Nordic and Singaporean innovation ecosystems, drive concrete business outcomes through high-quality matchmaking, and foster long-term collaboration in climate and deeptech. Acting together as a unified Nordic region allows participating countries to amplify their visibility and impact in Asia’s dynamic innovation landscape.

The initiative is organized by SISP – Swedish Incubators & Science Parks & Ignite Sweden and financed by Vinnova, Business Finland and Startup Estonia, in collaboration with Enterprise Singapore, Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), SGInnovate, Business Sweden, and Nordic Innovation House – Singapore.
