Focus of ERFA 2(2)
During this ERFA we highlight challenges and solutions related to early stage team development. We take a closer look at the updated version of the Team Readiness Level (TMRL), which is part of KTH’s Innovation Readiness levels. Together we explore how the model and team tools can be used in everyday life.
Background
PRE-STEP is a project that aims to strengthen Sweden’s startups by improving their work on team issues in early stages, thus increasing their competitiveness.
With the support of Vinnova, SISP, in co-operation with innovation offices, incubators and science parks, has mapped the needs and tools needed to support companies in the early stages of development (also known as the formation phase) in terms of team issues.
The aim is to match needs with tools relevant to entrepreneurs, idea carriers and researchers in deep tech, life science and broad incubation. These tools and methods will then be implemented through innovation offices, holding companies and the Swedish incubator system to strengthen business development. In the long term, we want to be able to offer relevant training for local counsellors, business developers and coaches who can use the tools in their everyday work with entrepreneurs, researchers and idea carriers. Find out more about the PRE-STEP development project here.
Participating organisations are Borås INK, Create Business incubator, Kalmar Science park gå, KTH innovation, LEAD, Movexum, SISP and Uppsala University Innovation Office
