Patent and Registration Office (PRV)

The Swedish Intellectual Property Office (PRV) is an expert authority for intellectual property law and works to ensure that new ideas at the forefront of technology and development strengthen Sweden’s growth, innovation capacity and competitiveness. PRV’s mission includes increasing knowledge and understanding of the value of intellectual property among companies, public actors and the general public. PRV processes patent, design and trade mark applications and also carries out assignment and training activities.
