Webinar: Temporary workers in your startup? How to navigate the new Temporary Agency Workers Act

January 31, 2025

12:00 – 12:45

Digital event

Open for all

The question of who is covered by the Temporary Agency Workers Act is highly topical. For companies using agency workers, such as consultants, there are important rules to be aware of – for example, if a consultant has been placed with the company for a total of more than 24 months since 1 October 2022, the company must offer them employment or financial compensation to keep them.

Other rules that may be important to know include the requirement to provide agency workers with the same working conditions as employees of the user company, including pay, working hours and holidays. Being familiar with these rules will help companies avoid legal problems and create better working conditions for agency workers.

Meet counsellor Anna Welinder from Teknikföretagen who answers the following questions:

  • What must the user undertaking offer to a temporary worker placed with them via temporary agency work
  • What factors do companies need to take into account to determine whether the services are consulting or staffing assignments?
  • How is time spent as a temporary worker calculated?
  • What applies to self-employed consultants?
