TRAINING: BASIC INNOVATIVE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Training for those who are coaches or business developers in startups and scaleups.

Are you new to the role of business developer or coach – or do you want to update and strengthen your skills? Then this training is for you! Together with SISP members and partners, we now offer a digital training programme that provides you with knowledge and relevant tools for working with startups and scaleups.

Background:
Since 2022, SISP has organised three rounds of the training – each time with very positive feedback. The training has been appreciated by both participants and their organisations, and places have quickly been fully booked.

Each theme is a half-day workshop (except for the first one which is also a start-up, is a full day), homework is provided to apply the knowledge in everyday life. The aim is to give participants a general knowledge of the subject, and lead them on the right path to deeper knowledge and ability to use tools linked to each session.

What you get:

As a participant, you will gain knowledge, concrete tools and methods in:

• Business development and team development – the role of business developer and coach for innovative teams and tools for team development.

• Lean startup methodology – tools for innovative business development.
  (14/10 2025, 08:30-12:00)
• Sales management – preparing innovative companies to meet their market.
  (13/11 2025 at 08:30-12:00)
• Intangible assets – strategies to build and protect value in a growing business.
  ( 9 Dec. 8:30-12:00)
• Sustainable business development – sustainability as a core idea and competitive advantage.
  (TBD: Jan 2026)
• Financing – how the idea journey can be financed from idea to scaling company, and how the company is prepared for external capital.
  (TBD: Feb 2026)

We are now looking for around 25 business developers/coaches from across the country to participate:

• All training sessions are delivered digitally via Zoom
• The Business Developer should be “new” in their current role (but can be senior otherwise), at least about 6 months on the job.
• The programme is suitable for those who work operationally with the target group of startups and/or scaleups, and want new perspectives, tools and networks
• You are motivated and interested in participating in all modules

Organisation and practical information:

• The programme provides valuable tools to apply in the role of business developer/coach
• The training is based on dialogue, interactivity and practical application
• Homework and reflections to put knowledge and tools into practice.
• Participation fee: SEK 15 000 excl. VAT (cost price)
• Deadline for registration: 18 June. We would like to see diversity in the training programme and reserve the right to select among those interested to achieve this. We will inform you at the end of June.
