The way forward: inviting startups to the policy table

Startups, governments and the European Union are codependent partnerships – The one needs the other. As mentioned clearly in the European Commission’s Innovation Agenda. Still, these highly innovative small companies are not acknowledged and invited to the high level discussions that set the stage for the possibility of future impact and contribution of growth.

Startups are in need of legislative rails and all European countries are in need of the cutting edge technology that startups can provide to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. What are the key challenges? How can this be achieved?

The session will start with a panel discussion with startups as well as policy makers representatives. The audience will then have the chance to ask questions to the panel. The session will end with a networking mingle and coffee.
