The Swedish Energy Agency invited a number of Swedish startups to attend the SkyDeck accelerator programme at Berkeley University in San Francisco during the winter-spring of 2024. SkyDeck is a business accelerator programme run through a partnership between the University of California Berkely’s Haas School of Business, Berkely College of Engineering and the Berkely Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research. California has ambitious climate goals, including in mobility, charging infrastructure, off-road applications and heavy-duty vehicles. And with Biden’s historic economic package, the Inflation Reduction Act, there will be major investments.
Marcus Rönngren Liu from GTI in Silicon Valley has been part of the programme with the startups and guides us through lessons learned from the programme.
Ivan Martinovic from Polar Light Technologies and Shwan Lamei from Emulate Energy were part of the programme and will share their experiences and highlights from inside the Silicon Valley startup world.
