Co-incubation is all the rage. Co-incubation is central to each incubator’s ability to help increasingly specialised companies and for Sweden to offer expertise in many areas across the country. But how do you actually do it? For about 4 years, Region Västra Götaland’s eight incubators have further developed a collaboration model with the aim of creating more competitive and sustainable companies that establish themselves in an international market and that more research-based ideas and innovations from the region benefit more people.

The ERFA meeting will provide a brief background to the project and review the key elements of the project and lessons learnt around co-incubation such as

  • Basic conditions
  • Financing models
  • How do you deal with companies that are part of several incubators?
  • Presentation of a co-incubation case between Chalmers Ventures & Inkubatorn in Borås: Vividye
  • How to share expertise between incubators?
  • Example of the successful Dry-run activity with associated investor meetings presented by Eivind Vogel-Rödin, Head of Innovatum Startup
  • Key figures – which ones to choose?
  • Final reflections and lessons learnt on how to work after project completion
